Altar Carpets

These carpets are made into the form of bags. Which means they are double-sided. They were hand-selected by EJ from a stack of antique hand-made carpets held in a private collection by a collector friend.

These carpets have not been on the market since the 1960s when they were snagged by his friend. They are of the Afghan style, made in Pakistan. They are heavy wool with an intense weave. All of the carpets are exceptional. These happen to be the few that EJ selected as the best of the best. When EJ's collector friend heard about how these were destined to be used in altars he allowed EJ to select a few. These are the few that EJ was able to cherry-pick from the collection.

EJ has found these carpets so that you may have them for use in your altars. They are going fast, so take a look and let your intuition be your guide.

By the way, the price you see on these carpets reflects the bare-minimum for cost recovery. Even though the collector did the best he could for EJ and you, as antique, rare handmade carpets they do not come cheap.
