This workshop could also answer to the name of "How To Make The Waking State Happen & Be A Lot More Tolerable", but my marketing department insisted on a simpler title, so there you have it ....

In the early hours of Sunday morning at our traditional mini-workshop open to all local inhabitants including IDHHB visitors, we worked out the basics of the ritualization process.

Included in that discussion are the obvious issues:

1. How to set up the Ritual Chamber in your own home
2. What exactly will you need for your Ritual Chamber?
3. Precisely what items go on the Altar?
4. What, if anything, should the Invocant wear?
5. How exactly is the Ritual to be performed?
6. Is there a "Short Form" to the Ritual?
7. How is the "Short Form" enacted?
8. For how long is the Ritual in effect and how to renew it daily...
9. What preparation will the Invocant need to do?

In connection with that last item on the list, we discussed food issues, transsubstantiation issues, ritual bathing, daily karmic cleansing and interpersonal issues, personal gear and Ritual Adornment, and more ... all of which will be covered in depth at this important November workshop.

What can you do to get ready for this workshop? Plenty:

1. If possible, you can attend the Dragon 3D Adventures on Sept. 28,29 & 30th in Grass Valley, and on Oct. 5th, 6th & 7th in Reno, Nevada. AfterLife Adventures Alumni ONLY may attend, as we will have AfterLife Adventure Quests in the evening and Dragon 3D during the day.

3. CALL immediately to reserve a space for each of those weekend adventures if you are able to attend. If it's a matter of going to those or to the November workshop, choose the November workshop ... it's as simple as that ... a total no-brainer. However, if you can do both, you will surely be happy with your decision.

4. If you are unable to attend both the Dragon 3D and Ritualizing the Waking State, you can use the waiting time well by participating in online Bardo Safaris.

5. Keep in mind that during the week, I teach art classes at Ben Franklin's, so if you're here longer than the weekend workshop time, you can utilize those extra days by attending my art classes in drawing, watercolor, charcoal, pastel, oils, acrylics, sculpture and more.
